A. I am able to perform simple Maintenance Mechanic tasks. I do not have on-the-job training or experience in the area.

I am able to perform the following Maintenance Mechanic tasks including paints and coats building structures, interpretive devises such as signs, sign frames, and floors, assists in the construction of cabinets, doors, windows, steps, and etc., and maintain records and set up inventories. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level Maintenance Mechanic.
C. I am able to perform Maintenance Mechanic tasks including preparing surfaces by methods such as sanding, and wire brushing and thin, stir, and mix coating materials, measure and cut wood, composite, and wood substitute items to a specific fit and accuracy and label, pack, load, and unload inventory and/or warehouse materials. I work under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
D. I am able to perform the most difficult and complex Maintenance Mechanic tasks including applying various coating materials like paints, varnishes, and shellacs with brushes, rollers, and etc. and ensuring the coating finish meets surface protection requirements, perform mill work, construct framing, and make items such as benches, partitions, frames, and tables, and operate a forklift and execute inventories. I work independently with minimal supervision.
