For each of the following (1) questions, please select the response that best describes your education and/or experience. You may select only one response for each question. If you feel that your education or experience exceeds all of the descriptions for a particular question, choose the description that is the closest level to the experience or education that you possess. Failure to respond to these questions will result in an ineligible rating.

1. From the descriptions below, select the ONE response that BEST describes the education and/or experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform as a GS-07 Human Resources Specialist.

A. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level because I have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: assisting with filling out various forms and documentation, providing information and assistance and performing various support functions that relate to human resources.

B. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level based on education, because I have one full year of graduate level education OR I qualify based on Superior Academic Achievement provisions: 1. A grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for all completed undergraduate course work or for all courses completed in the last two full years of undergraduate work; 2. A GPA of 3.5 or higher for all courses in the major field of study, or those courses in a major completed in the last two full years of undergraduate work; 3. Rank in the upper one-third of a college, university, or major subdivision; or 4. Membership in a national honor society or successful completion of one full year of graduate level study.

C. I qualify for this position at the GS-07 level based on a combination of specialized experience as described above and graduate-level education as described above which when combined equals 100% of the requirements. To calculate your percentage of graduate education, first determine the total number of graduate hours that exceed 18 semester hours (or your school's definition of one year of graduate study), then divide the total number of your excess graduate semester hours by 18 (or your school's definition of one year of graduate study). To calculate your percentage of qualifying experience, divide your total number of months of qualifying experience by 12. Now, add the two percentages together. The sum of the percentages must equal at least 100%. (Only graduate education in excess of the first full year may be used in this calculation).

D. I do not have the education or experience as described above.

B. I qualify for this position at the GS-09 level because I have completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

C. I qualify for this position at the GS-09 level based on a combination of specialized experience as described above graduate-level education as described above which when combined equal 100% of the requirements.
