A. Experience: I have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-4 (basic technician level) which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position. Specialized experience is indicated by one or more of the following: carried out routine field or laboratory assignments in support of fisheries-related biology activities with direct supervision; conducted tests and routine procedural tasks in a biological science field using well-established work procedures or specific instructions with direct supervision; participated in fisheries projects, performed tasks such as making fish counts, sampling fish and trapping fish with direct supervision; recorded scientific data to prepare reports.
B. Education: I have successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelors' degree with major study or at least 24 semester/36 quarter hours in botany, biology, ecology, chemistry, entomology, statistics, horticulture, mathematics, physics, agriculture, or animal husbandry. My coursework included at least 6 semester hours/9 quarter hours in classes directly related to the position being filled.
C. I have a combination of experience and undergraduate education as described in the qualifications section of the vacancy announcement that, when combined, is equivalent to 100% or more of the qualification requirement.
