A. I possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level conducting wildlife inventory and monitoring activities for a variety of wildlife species. For example, as a member of a field crew I assisted in conducting field surveys in remote locations to document and assess animal presence, abundance, reproduction, and population dynamics using established protocols and standard scientific equipment. In carrying out this work I followed established protocols and recorded wildlife data using computer software (such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, ArcGIS, Pathfinder Office, or comparable ones).

B. I do not have the one year of specialized experience as defined in A above; however, I have successfully completed four years of education above high school (120 semester hour or 180 quarter hours) leading to a bachelor's degree with major study or 24 semester hours of course work in a related field of scientific or technical study, such as in biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, animal husbandry, botany, physics, agriculture, or mathematics, or in wildlife ecology, wildlife management, wildlife biology, or other directly-related subject matter.

C. I have NOT completed 1 full year of specialized experience or the 4 years of education as described above, but I have an equivalent combination of education and experience. NOTE: Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours of a course of study leading to a bachelor's degree can be substituted for specialized experience. Two full academic years of study, or 60 semester hours, beyond the second year is equivalent to l year of specialized experience. For example, I have 6 months of the specialized experience described in A above (50% of the experience requirement), and 3 years of college study from an accredited institution (50% of the qualifying education) which included at least 12 semester hours of related coursework as specified in B above (50% of the related coursework required).

D. I do not meet any of the above statements.
