Experience and Education Requirements for the Accounting Technician (OA), GS-0525-05 position.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service which includes examining, verifying, and maintenace of accounts and accounting data based on knowledge of standard accounting codes, classifications, and terminology. These examples are not all inclusive (refer to the summary of duties for specialized experience).
B. I have successfully completed 4 years above high school in any field, for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. NOTE: If you are using education to qualify, you must submit a copy of your college transcripts.
C. I have a combination of experience as described in A and education as described in B which totals 100% of the requirement for 1 year of specialized experience. The equivalent of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours (beyond the 2nd year of attendance) is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.
