A. I have received a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees AND I have completed at least 24 semester hours (or the equivalent) of creditable business courses.
B. I am a current DoD civilian employee who previously occupied a GS-1102 or a Contracting Officer position with the authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30th, 2000, AND I have received a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
C. I am a current DoD civilian employee who previously occupied a GS-1102 or a Contracting Officer position with the authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30th, 2000, AND I have completed at least 24 semester hours (or the equivalent) of creditable business courses.
D. I am a current DoD civilian employee who previously occupied a GS-1102 or a Contracting Officer position with the authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30th, 2000, AND I have at least 10 years of acquisition experience prior to October 1, 1991.
E. My experience/education is not listed above.

2. From the descriptions below, select the letter that BEST describes the highest level of education and/or experience that you fully possess for the position of Procurement Analyst. Read all of the statements completely before making your selection.

A. GS-09 level: Experience: I possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position. Examples of specialized experience are: assisting in determining whether new or revised acquisition systems are needed; coordinating with others to exchange information and ideas regarding procurement system instructions; assisting in the preparation of instructions for users of automated procurement systems; assisting in the preparation of studies, reports and fact sheets regarding system acquisition policies; and assisting in the interpretation of automation policies and procedures.
B. GS-09 level: Education substitution: I possess 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or a master's or equivalent graduate degree. Such education must be from an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE SUBMITTED.
C. GS-09 level: Combination: I possess a combination of creditable education and specialized experience as listed in "A" and "B" above.
D. GS-11 level: Experience: I possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the federal service which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position. Examples of specialized experience are: experience developing acquisition systems and preparing instructions for use; experience conducting special studies to assure that operational automated systems are responsive to management requirements; and compiling, analyzing and summarizing information related to procurement requirements.
E. GS-11 level: Education substitution: I possess 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree. Such education must be from an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the work. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE SUBMITTED.
F. GS-11 level: Combination: I possess a combination of creditable education and specialized experience as listed in "D" and "E" above.
G. I do not possess the specialized experience and/or education to qualify for this position.

3. Ensure uniform application of guidelines from both automation and contracting personnel

4. Review, analyze and assist with the development of systems to cover a wide range of procurement automation and system contracting issues

5. Review and evaluate automated systems which support procurement and production

6. Disseminate and explain any new internal or external regulations to operating officials

7. Recommend necessary changes to system procedures to guarantee efficient operational management

8. Gather data from automated systems to analyze trends of recurring discrepancies

9. Review changes to system acquisition regulations impacting the Procurement Automated data and Document System (PADDS) and other Directorate automated systems

10. Develop input to the PADDS regulation reference file

11. Assist with developing and implementing changes to be reflected in the automated systems output documents

12. Provide training on new or changed regulatory requirements and the issuance of system acquisition instructions

13. Assist with advising management and Directorate personnel on matters pertaining to automated contracting systems

14. Develop acquisition systems and prepares instructions for use by Directorate personnel
