6. Monitors and tracks OCDETF activity within the Eastern District of California, performs research of case activity, compiles data, and prepares reports for submission to the Core City Coordinator.

7. Compiles and indexes bibliographies of source material, and verifies citations and statutory references contained in briefs and legal documents.

8. Prepares a wide variety of legal documents, many of which are voluminous and complex in format.

9. Examines and makes substantive processing determinations or initiates other actions based on analysis of the situation or circumstances behind the documentations submitted.

10. Receives court documents and other required information from staff or case files upon sentencing or dismissal of cases and prepares Disposition and Sentencing Reports.

11. Reviews incoming material and determines the need for correspondence and legal documents such as motions, orders, pleadings, and subpoenas.

22. Compiles, organizes, and indexes various evidentiary exhibits for trial based on general instructions and subject-matter understanding of the case.

23. Establishes current working files and maintains working file indices with proper cross indices for references.

24. Provides technical advice to lower graded support staff regarding procedures and processing requirements of legal actions.

25. Researches case files and/or makes appropriate inquiries to attorneys, other legal support staff, and /or agents to identify and maintain the status of cases with organized crime/drug activity.

26. Contacts Federal agents and State and local officials to obtain additional information required for OCDETF reports.

27. Tracks reports submitted to Core City and notifies agencies of the status of submitted reports and acceptance of cases by Core City Coordinator.

28. Develops and maintains suspense system for ongoing cases and informs the attorney of pending dates and deadlines.
