I possess at least two years post J.D. experience as a practicing attorney, one year of which includes providing interpretative advice on issues related to the financial management, structure, operations, and practices of credit rating agencies, broker-dealers, investment advisers, investment companies, or other related organizations; assisting with the preparation of reports and review of companies records and procedures and conducting briefings for management and/or represent the organization at briefings, meetings or conferences, conveying complex and technical information to address the concerns of the intended audience.
B. I possess at least three years post J.D. experience as a practicing attorney, two years of which include providing interpretative advice on issues related to the financial management, structure, operations, and practices of credit rating agencies, broker-dealers, investment advisers, investment companies, or other related organizations and preparing reports; identifying major policy issues; and developing and preparing guidance on a variety of complex legal issues which have been referred because of the complexity or sensitivity of the topics involved, precedent- setting implications, short suspense time for response, deviation from established regulations, or other unusual actions.

4. Interpret and apply the rules, regulations, and statutes governing the credit rating process, including the Credit Rating Agency Reform Act and the Dodd-Frank Act.

5. Apply expertise in corporate, municipal, or structured finance and provide advice to examiners on post rating reviews of corporate ratings, structured finance ratings, municipal ratings, and other ratings.

6. Apply expertise of the operation of NRSROs and related compliance procedures and regulatory requirements, including procedures for determining credit ratings, handling of material of non-public nature, and managing conflicts of interest.
