A. I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level that involved reviewing, verifying, and validating data from an automated financial and travel systems for accuracy; records daily transactions and provides data for budget reporting ; recommends changes to senior management; Make recommendations on the cost effectiveness of a wide range of common categories of financial systems equipment.; base projection on past usage and initiatives directed by higher echelons; devises new or revises existing procedures to improve resource accountability and reporting data; respond to a variety of diverse and unusual customer inquiries, either orally or in writing
B. I have a master's or equivalent graduate degree; or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
C. I have some specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B. 2. Performs routine tasks to operate a financial management information systems to produce and disseminate useful information related to resource utilization.

3. Devise new or revises existing procedures to improve resource accountability and reporting data.

4. Analyzes standard management information system processes using readily available source documents.

5. Record daily transactions and provides data for budget recording. 

6. Make recommendations on the technical feasibility, availability, and cost effectiveness of a wide range of common categories of financial systems equipment.

7. Chooses from among several options to make determinations affecting the processing of data and materials, such as determining the specialized indexing code to assign to submitted documents.

8. Carries out data and document processing functions such as imaging, indexing, cataloging, and scanning standard and non-routine document and data submissions ( e.g. oversized maps, booklets, electronic data, video tapes, audio tapes, etc.).

9. Differentiate types of documentation for specific purposes such as making a distinction between documents i.e., submission letters, comment letters and analyses, for coding purposes.

10. Explains procedures to users, such as how to number and store paper, electronic and other types of records.

11. Advise users when to dispose of or transfer records to central holding area; and how and where to store to destroy classified records.

12. Present facts based on decisions on the local controls over and regulations pertaining to financial matters.
