Collecting background information from a variety of sources, and applying standard or new examination techniques in reviewing findings/results and determining applicability to investigation.
B. I have successfully completedĀ a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in an accredited college or university, or a J.D, if related. Such education must demonstrate the skills needed to do the work. A course of study in IT Security, Cyber Security Administration, or related fields is qualifying.

A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 Federal grade level in performing such duties as performing digital forensic examinations that included imaging, manual data extraction, basic analysis, examination process documentation (i.e. examination notes), and results reporting. Including performing examinations on computer systems containing the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and Linux.
B. I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. A course of study in IT Security, Cyber Security administration, or related fields is qualifying.
C. I have a combination of both, experience and education.
