MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

B. I have successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement necessary to do the work of this position.

C. I have a combination of specialized experience as described in A and education as described in B that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal 100 percent.

D. I do not have any of the requirements in A through C above, but I am willing to learn.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. (One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.)

C. I have a combination of specialized experience as described in A and education as described in B that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal 100 percent.

7. Assist with the processing of classified theses to include the formatting and distribution of the final thesis/dissertation.

8. Review Technical Reports (e.g. final technical document for the permanent record to archive results of research) prior to submission for publication.

9. Perform initial review of theses for administrative requirements to include electronic distribution and archiving.

10. Monitor the distribution of classified theses to ensure proper handling of classified information.

12. Maintain and update financial records and reconcile accounts.

17. Advise students on necessary corrections in order to complete a publishable thesis.

18. Provide training in the form of workshops to students on the requirements and procedures for submitting a thesis/dissertation.

19. Review Technical Report instructions and recommend necessary changes.

20. Coordinate with faculty for the payment of publication page charges for journal papers.

SKILL IN ORAL COMMUNICATION (PART 2)

21. Resolve issues with late payments.

22. Complete procurement transactions and provide forms to Comptroller.
