A. I have completed at least 4-years of experience in contracting or related positions. At least 1 year of that experience is specialized experience that is equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service or equivalent pay systems that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the work of the position. AND, I have completed a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. (You must provide a copy of your college transcript with your application)
B. I meet the following exception to the requirements stated in "A" above: I occupied and continue to occupy a GS-1102 position since January 1, 2000. (This also applies to positions at the same grade in the same agency or other agencies if the specialized experience requirements are met).
C. I do not have experience or training as reflected in the statements above.

I have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but it must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Examples of such specialized experience include: Planning, managing, and overseeing acquisitions in support of an organization's activities; formulating and recommending policies and plans pertaining to acquisition planning, procurement, and contract administration; analyzing markets, preparing market forecasts, developing market sources, and maintaining favorable relations with vendors; preparing proposals, statements of work, and other acquisition related documents; making decisions and providing recommendations to the Executive Director on problems presented by subordinates.
B. I do not have the level of specialized experience described in statement A above.
