A. I am able to perform complex maintenance work associated with a variety of trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other trades appropriate to this position. I have supervised or served as a lead worker over others in the performance of such tasks as a regular part of my duties. I have extensive experience in roads, trails, and building maintenance and can repair and operate a variety of tools and equipment associated with the trades above. I take initiative to solve complex problems and can accomplish a variety of maintenance worker assignments independently and safely. I possess a strong work ethic, dexterity and am able to perform strenuous work as required by the position. I possess the ability to use a computer, maintain records, and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

B. I am able to perform the full range of maintenance worker duties associated with more than one trade such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other trades appropriate to this position. I have performed these duties on my own initiative with only general supervision subject to occasional inspection. I occasionally serve as a sub-foreman. I am able to troubleshoot and take initiative to solve problems and accomplish work assignments in a safe manner. I have knowledge of a variety of technical trade terminology, tools, and equipment in more than one area. I possess a strong work ethic, dexterity and am able to perform strenuous work as required by the position. I possess the ability to use a computer, maintain records, and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

C. I am able to perform common maintenance worker duties associated with more than one trade area such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other trades appropriate to this position without more than normal supervision. I take initiative to solve problems and accomplish work assignments in a safe manner. I have knowledge of technical trade terminology, tools, and equipment in more than one area. I have the ability to create material lists related to labor and costs of maintenance projects. Tasks assigned to me are inspected upon completion by my work leader or supervisor for conformance to requirements. I possess a strong work ethic, dexterity and am able to perform strenuous work as required by the position. I possess the ability to use a computer, maintain records, and perform simple arithmetic calculations.

D. I am able to perform some maintenance worker tasks. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level maintenance worker who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

E. I am able to perform simple tasks but know little or nothing about maintenance work related to the trades listed in the responses above.
