1. Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-11, which is directly related to the line of work.
Specialized Experience: Knowledge of Radio broadcasting and technical standards as applies to operation of broadcasts systems and equipment, and ability to operate digital and analog broadcast and recording equipment systems, Examples of this experience is demonstrated ability to work with various digital systems such as ISDN, IP, etc.; ability to perform broadcast equipment and systems troubleshooting to resolve problems, monitor and fine-tune broadcast systems to meet accepted broadcast standards and demonstrated use of master control and routing switches, patch panels and interncoms.
