I possess at least one full-time year (12-months) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties under supervision: utilizing molecular biology techniques such as PCR and DNA cloning, and associated equipment; demonstrating biochemistry techniques such as protein expression, purification, and activity assays, and associated equipment; searching for literature pertinent to microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry for new procedures or techniques; modifying or developing techniques and procedures to satisfy the needs of research projects; maintaining, calibrating, and modifying equipment used for test and evaluation procedures; utilizing computers and software packages to tabulate, and summarize data; preparing solutions and reagents for use in the laboratory; and safely disposing of biological and chemical waste materials.
B. I possess one and a half years (27 semester hours) of graduate education with major study in biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, botany, physics, agriculture, or mathematics.
C. I possess a combination of the specialized experience described in "A" above and education as described in "B" above, such that the percentage of required experience plus the percentage of education equals 100%.
