A. I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level or higher, or the equivalent in other pay systems. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but it demonstrates that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience should include performing duties such as: implementing program objectives, policies, procedures and processes to administer and evaluate the effectiveness of administrative programs (such as employee work hours, time keeping, personnel security studies, etc); assisting in studies to identify problems in administrative procedures, work processes, or workload distribution; overseeing and reviewing suspense actions and assignments; attending meetings/briefings and maintaining a director/executive's calendar.
B. I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. This education provided me with the competencies necessary to perform the duties of this position. (Note: You must submit a copy of your graduate transcripts with your resume if you are using this option to qualify.)
C. I have an equivalent combination of specialized experience and education. To compute, first determine the percentage of the specialized experience you possess; then determine the percentage of the education you possess (note: only education in excess of the firstĀ full year of graduate education or 18 semester hours is creditable); then add the two percentages; they must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.
