2. Assemble appropriate tools, materials, supplies, gear, and equipment necessary to complete daily work projects.

3. Operate various vehicles such as trucks, ATV's and small tractors.

4. Maintain motor vehicles by performing routine maintenance checks.

5. Use and maintain equipment for trail maintenance activities such as chainsaws, lawn mowers, power generators, water pumps, and power trimmers.

6. Use power tools to perform basic carpentry skills including framing, construction of wooden boardwalks and tent platforms, and other related trail carpentry projects.

7. Install signs, repairs to facilities exterior structures and grounds utilizing hand tools and power tools.

8. Follow and carry out assignments in accordance with established oral or written directions, or established policies and practices.

9. Employ safe and efficient practices while working, traveling or camping at job sites and facilities.

10. Use and maintain facility cleaning and painting equipment such as power painting equipment and power pressure washers.

11. Safely operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, trailers, and small tractors.

KSA-3. Ability to follow written instructions or work orders and oral instructions /follows established safety protocol and policies.

12. Understand and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions from a supervisor and articulate information (project goals, standards, and expectations) to volunteer groups.

13. Use computers to document work order requests, time and material costs from written work orders onto computer spreadsheet databases.

20. Use liquid measuring devices for mixing fuels and oils, paints, and cleaning solvents.

21. Use tape measures, squares, levels, chalk lines, etc., to measure, mark and cut a variety of material.
